Psychedelic Assisted Therapy

psychedelic preparation and integration coaching

Are you looking to have a ketamine/ psychedelic experience but unsure of where to start? You have come to the right place, as I offer psychedelic preparation and integration coaching.

You might be asking, what is psychedelic preparation and integration coaching? Psychedelic preparation includes but is not limited to the process one engages in before having a ketamine/ psychedelic journey. This process helps in determining intentions which are different than expectations, practicing grounding/anchoring techniques if the journey becomes uncomfortable or challenging, identifying a quality sitter/healer/practitioner, and learning healthy boundary setting techniques. Preparation helps with creating a safe container and engaging in harm reduction. Through the preparation process you will be provided with education, support, and resources to help with getting the safest and most beneficial experience.

Within the process of integration, this process helps one make meaning of the experience which was had within the journey. The range of emotions and material which can come up in a ketamine/psychedelic journey can be difficult to process independently. Within this space, one is given an opportunity to process with a second person but also in a safe and non-judgmental way. This process within itself can also last up to weeks, months, and even sometimes years. The coaching which will be provided will help kickstart this process and if additional support is needed for ongoing support, there is opportunity to discuss but also help given to get connected to this ongoing support.

Commonly asked questions

No, these are two completely different processes. Psychedelic assisted therapy is a modality in which a therapist is present throughout all three phases of a psychedelic experience which includes but is not limited to preparation, dosing/journey, and integration. Although I am a trained psychedelic assisted therapist, I do not provide these services within my consultation business as most psychedelics are not legal and are mostly supported through clinical trials. Psychedelic preparation/integration coaching is not long-term as well. You and I will decide on a treatment plan which will determine the duration you and I will meet which will either be between three-eight sessions. If longer care is determined, you and I will discuss options for ongoing therapy with an alternate provider.

No. Psychedelic preparation and integration therapy may be covered by insurance companies but coaching is not. This is an out of pocket expense. Therapy is usually longer term while coaching is limited.

As a coach, during preparation, we will discuss the importance of finding a trusted and safe sitter or practitioner. I do not advocate or advise the use of illegal substances, but I do also understand that psychedelic medicines have been an impactful component of the human experience for millenials.

Under no circumstances will I help you find or seek out psychedelics. There are ketamine clinics we can discuss about possible infusion sessions but other psychedelics outside of this conversation will not be discussed in regards to seeking or obtaining.

Please look no further as I am a certified Ketamine and Psychedelic Assisted Therapist.
