Candace, your supervision has been invaluable to me, both personally and professionally. I truly believe you were the person I needed specifically to believe in me, encourage me, and guide me through the many challenges that sometimes arise in our profession. As I continue in my professional career, I am even more grateful for the clinical knowledge and resources I gained from you in supervision. I am a better clinician and supervisor because of you. It was a privilege and honor being able to work with you and to continue to have you as a mentor.

Everyone needs support, guidance, and/or coaching regardless what stage in your professional career. I am very grateful to Ms. Oglesby, who has taken time to help me navigate leadership in organizational systems within the Human services/Mental health industry. As well, challenging me to sit with hard, uncomfortable, but important questions regarding my growth, development, and how fear and imposter syndrome can become a roadblock to personal and professional career advancement.
